According to reports received from the Salem Police Department:

• Investigation of a traffic stop 12:40 p.m. March 21 led to the arrest of an 18-year-old Salem female on an active arrest warrant from the City of Salem. The suspect was taken into custody on the warrant and incarcerated pending a court appearance.

• An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of East Fourth at 11:40 p.m. March 21 reference a male acting violent. Investigation of the report led to the arrest of a 29-year-old male of Salem on an active arrest warrant from Dent County. The suspect was taken into custody on the warrant and incarcerated pending a court appearance.

• An officer was dispatched March 22 to South Town Furniture located at 1601 South Missouri Highway 19 reference property damage. Investigation of the report revealed person(s) unknown broke a large front glass window valued at $706.37. The report is under investigation.

• An officer was informed at 8:10 p.m. March 23 of a male suspect trying to start a fight at McDonald's Restaurant. Investigation of the report led to the arrest of a 22-year-old Salem male for disorderly conduct. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in court and released.

• A vehicle was stopped at 11:45 p.m. March 24 for a theft investigation. Investigation of the stop led to the recovery of stolen merchandise and the arrest of a 24-year-old Bunker male for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of a weapon. The suspect was released pending a criminal summons.

• Investigation of a traffic stop 8:01 p.m. March 25 led to the arrest of a 21-year-old Salem male on an active arrest warrant from Franklin County. The suspect was taken into custody on the warrant and later released with a new court date after posting bond.

• An officer was dispatched to Walmart parking lot at 5:14 p.m. March 26 reference a male that was possibly in possession of methamphetamine. Investigation of the report revealed a 31-year-old Salem male was parked in the parking lot and was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was taken into custody and incarcerated pending a warrant application.

• Investigation of a traffic stop 6:30 p.m. March 26 led to the arrest of a 36-year-old Salem female on an active arrest warrant from the City of Salem. The suspect was incarcerated pending a court appearance.

• An officer was dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of East Franklin at 7:02 p.m. March 26 reference a domestic disturbance. During the investigation a 31-year-old Salem male charged at an officer hitting him in the chest. The suspect was taken into custody for assaulting an officer and incarcerated pending the application for a warrant.
