Injuries were reported Tuesday as a result of a two-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Highway 72 and Highway B, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A 2007 Chevrolet HHR, driven by Beverly J. Robinson, 48, of Salem, was westbound at 8:49 p.m. Tuesday when it failed to yield, turned into the path of and collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Clyde R. Wisdom, 48, of Bunker.    

Wisdom and five Suburban passengers received minor injuries in the crash including Sonia M. Wisdom, 46; Anthony J. Wisdom, 18; Chandler G. Wisdom, 15; William D. Wisdom, 13; and Layla S. Wisdom, 11. All were taken for treatment to Salem Memorial District Hospital by Salem EMS.

Both vehicles sustained total damage and were removed from the scene by Whittaker’s Towing.

The highway patrol was assisted on the call by Dent County Sheriff’s Office and Dent County Rural Fire Protection District.
